Welcome to Zambia! Waterberry is a lovely family owned, and run, lodge near Victoria Falls. It is perfect for those with children as there is a fantastic pool and board games in the lounge, pretty gardens and a private villa for larger families. It is far enough away from the Falls that you don’t hear the helicopters and microlights but close enough that you don’t have to travel far for activities. With only 7 comfortable rooms and one cottage, it is a cosy and affordable option.
After your stay at Waterberry, you will be transferred to Livingstone and fly to Mfuwe Airport, our gateway to South Luangwa National Park.
South Luangwa National Park is known to be one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world: 60 different animal species and over 400 bird species living in a pristine environment.
Kafunta is a classic Zambian safari lodge where you will find the rest and peace you need after an exciting day of game drives. At Kafunta each of the luxury private chalets and the main lounge/dining area has fantastic views of the game-rich flood plain.
After breakfast, it’s time to go deeper into the bush to Three Rivers Camp. Three Rivers Camp is located approximately 2 hours South of Kafunta River Lodge Three Rivers Camp is the latest addition to the Kafunta Safaris’ portfolio and is set at the confluence of the Luangwa, Kapamba and Lusangazi Rivers in South Luangwa, Zambia. The stylish tents lay under shady sausage trees and are facing either the Luangwa River or the game-rich lagoon.
Three Rivers Camp is exquisitely intimate with only 5 spacious tents, elegantly decorated with natural materials and earthy hues. They have large gauzed windows embracing extensive views of the Luangwa River and the nearby lagoon. Each tent has its own wooden deck with comfy chairs to enjoy the surrounding vistas.
After breakfast it’s time to hit the road and head to Salima, it’s approximately a 7-hour drive from South Luangwa. From Salima, there is a boat transfer to the island which takes about 20 minutes. Blue Zebra Island Lodge is tucked away on Nankoma Island, a part of the Marelli Island archipelago.
During your time on the island, you will be able to enjoy drinks by the pool, soak in the sun on the beach, snorkel and discover the Blue Zebra Cichlids, and even play badminton. The Island is renowned for its dazzling array of bird life, you will find yourself on an unspoilt island paradise, surrounded by nature and luxury.
Today after breakfast you will have a boat transfer to Mumbo island where you will spend the last two nights on your tour. Mumbo Island is a pristine and deserted tropical island floating on the expansive waters of the Lake Malawi National Park. With a maze of massive underwater boulders, innumerable species of colourful cichlid fish and calm, clear water, the National Park offers what many consider to be the best freshwater snorkelling and SCUBA diving in the world. All tents are fully furnished with en-suite bathrooms.
All the good things must come to an end! Your Malawian Style guide will drive you back to Lilongwe International Airport for your flight back home. End of Tour…

Welcome to Zambia! Upon arrival in Livingstone, you will be met by a Malawian Style representative who will transfer you to Toka Leya.
Toka Leya is a perfect high-end choice at the falls, the luxury style tented accommodation fits in perfectly from a safari trip and reminds you of the surrounding nature in the national park. With just a small number of huge tents, it is hard to leave the comfort of your own room. Of course, with the incredible food and activities on offer, you will manage to head on out to the river the lodge overlooks and see either the beautiful falls or the wildlife on the river banks!
Here, four chalets sit idyllically along the Mwamba River that dries out as the season progresses. The relaxed and rustic designs of Mwamba with hidden luxury items make you at home in the bush, every aspect of camp life is finely tuned to the Shenton’s family rhythm. A truly unique safari experience.
Kaingo is the main camp owned by Shenton Safaris. A luxury lodge based in the middle of the bush, in the quieter northern sector of South Luangwa, it is a photographer’s dream. Shenton excels itself with their range of unique hides and sleep out spots. Encouraging you to get up close and personal they have a range of nooks they can take you to where you can watch the wildlife uninterrupted and close enough to leave the zoom lens in the bag!
After breakfast, you will head to Mfuwe Airport to fly to Lilongwe, Malawi. From here you will be met by a Malawian Style guide and driven to Senga Bay, where you will have a boat transfer to Nankoma Island, your accommodation for the next two nights will be at the Blue Zebra Lodge.
It is situated in the Lake Malawi National Park on Nankoma Island which forms part of Marelli Island Archipelago. It offers 8 exclusive tented en suite chalets each overlooking the lake with some of the crystal clear waters. The chalets are set in an unspoiled environment and guests are surrounded by nature and luxury. Guests are free to chill at the infinity pool, Kayak around the islands or enjoy a game of volleyball as part of the board package. The lodge also offers free use of snorkelling equipment to view the unique colourful fish that inhabit every inch of the coastline.

Kaya Mawa has a number of stone, thatched cottages and 2 family beach villas, with a luxurious & romantic villa on its own private island. The lodge was entirely built by hand, in partnership with the local community.
