Day 1 – 2: Kumbali House, Lilongwe

Welcome to Malawi. Your guide will meet you at Lilongwe International Airport and transfer you to Woodlands in Lilongwe where you will be accommodated for the night before proceeding to South Luangwa. Kumbali House offers lovely accommodation in a lovely surrounding. Lounge around the pool and recuperate after your flight.

Day 2 – 5: Croc Valley Camp, South Luangwa



It’s time to go on safari! Following a nights rest it is time to hit the road and head for South Luangwa. You will spend the next 3 nights at Croc Valley Camp. An abundance of wildlife such as elephants, monkeys, hippos and a wide variety of antelope often pass through the camp and can be seen most days from the safety of the bar, restaurant, chalets and tents.

Day 5-7: Luwawa Forest Lodge, Viphya


After South Luangwa, the journey to the north of Malawi begins – next stop Viphya! You will stay at Luwawa Forest Lodge, which is neatly nestled in a forest reserve surrounded by a combination of pine and indigenous woodland.Whether you want a relaxing stay or an active few days there are plenty of things to do. Unwind in the sauna or get on yer bike and explore the forest.

Day 7-10: Chelinda Chalets, Nyika Plateau


Located high on the Nyika Plateau within Nyika National Park, Chelinda Camp overlooks a crystal-clear dam with panoramic views of rolling hills and isolated ridges with a rich experience of grasslands. Nyika is rich in wildlife, most notable leopards. Accommodation at Chelinda Camp consists of two options. There are four chalets which have two bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge, dining area – with a fireplace – and a small kitchen as well as six en-suite rooms with twin beds, which share a dining, bar and lounge area.

Day 10-12: Makuzi Beach Lodge, Nkhata Bay


From Nyika to Nkhata Bay. Makuzi beach lodge is situated on the lush northern shores of Lake Malawi. It is one of the Malawi’s only private white sand beaches which provides guests with a superb, secluded retreat and wonderful views across Africa’s third largest lake.

Day 12-14: Bua River Lodge (Hill side rooms), Nkhotakota


Next stop Bua River Lodge, our guide will take you to Nkhotakota’s Bua River Lodge. On the banks of the beautiful Bua River in Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve, Central Malawi, Bua River Lodge offers fine, en-suite, tented accommodation to a very high standard but at moderate prices. Bua River Lodge is highly acclaimed for the friendliness of their staff, the quality of the accommodation, the standard of service and excellent food! Take a walk down to the river or kayak if you prefer, watch the amazing sunsets or go bird watching.

Day 14 – 16: Blue Zebra Lodge (Safari Tents), Nankoma Island


Blue Zebra Lodge is situated in Lake Malawi National Park on Nankoma Island which forms part of Marelli Island Archipelago. The chalets are set in an unspoiled environment and guests are surrounded by nature and luxury. Guests are free to chill at the infinity pool, Kayak around the islands or enjoy a game of volleyball as part of the board package.

Day 16: Departure


Unfortunately, it is time to leave Malawi! However, you can go home and share your amazing tales and photos with your friends and family.

Day 1 – 2: Kumbali Country Lodge, Lilongwe


Welcome to Malawi! First stop Kumbali Lodge. Situated on a 650-hectare forest reserve and dairy farm land. This will be your first destination upon your arrival in Malawi. Only 10 minutes from the capital city, Lilongwe, along a quiet traffic-free road.

Day 2 – 5: Wildlife Camp, South Luangwa


It is time to head to South Luangwa! Wildlife Camp is a safari camp on the banks of the Luangwa National park Zambia. The guests are provided with an affordable front – row seat to one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in Africa.

Day 5-7: Luwawa Forest Lodge, Viphya Plateau



Following a few days on safari, it is time to hit the road again. Now your Malawian Style guide will transfer you to Luwawa Forest Lodge, situated in the northern region of Malawi. The estimated time of arrival at the lodge is around lunch time, you will have the afternoon to explore and enjoy the many activities on offer such as biking, hiking, nature trails, rock climbing, abseiling and many more.

Day 7-10:  Chelinda Camp, Nyika Plateau


From Luwawa Forest Lodge, the journey will continue to Chelinda Camp. Located high on the Nyika Plateau within Nyika National Park. There are four chalets which have two bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge, dining area with a fireplace and a small kitchen. There are also six en-suite rooms with twin beds, which share a dining, bar and lounge area complete with luxurious furnishings and an inviting fireplace for those cosy nights.

Day 10-12: Makuzi Beach Lodge, Nkhata Bay


Makuzi beach lodge is situated on the lush northern shores of Lake Malawi. All chalets are en-suite with stunning lake views set in a perfectly manicured garden. This relaxed lakeshore lodge is a perfect retreat with a well-deserved reputation or a warm hospitality and great facilities. Makuzi beach lodge is a perfect location for a romantic getaway or a family holiday.

Day 12-14: Bua River Lodge, Nkhotakota


On the banks of the beautiful Bua River in Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve, Central Malawi, Bua River Lodge offers fine, en-suite, tented accommodation to a very high standard but at moderate prices.

Day 14 – 16: Blue Zebra Lodge, Nankoma Island


This will be your final destination of this amazing trip. Blue Zebra is set in an idylic surrounding. The lodge offers 8 exclusive tented en- suite chalets each overlooking the lake with its crystal clear waters. The chalets are set in an unspoilt environment and guests are surrounded by nature and luxury.

Day 16: Departure

Sadly, it is time to head for Lilongwe for your onward journey home or to your next destination. Your Malawian Style guide will transfer you to the capital.

Day 1 – 2: Kumbali Country Lodge, Lilongwe


Welcome to Malawi, the warm heart of Africa! You will be greeted by your Malawian Style guide at the airport and transferred to Kumbali Country Lodge for a night before proceeding to South Luangwa. The lodge is stylish, relaxed and informal. The perfect place to relax after a long flight.

Day 2 – 7: Kafunta River Lodge, South Luangwa


Onwards to South Luangwa, next stop Kafunta! Kafunta is a classic Zambian safari lodge where you will find the rest and peace you need after an exciting day of game drives. At Kafunta each of the luxury private chalets and the main lounge/dining area has fantastic views of the game rich flood plain. Next to the bar reside the pool and the natural hot spring.

Day 7 – 10: Tongole Lodge, Nkhotakota

You will fly from Mfuwe to Lilongwe and have a road transfer to Tongole.Tongole Wilderness Lodge is an exciting 4* eco-tourism venture set deep within the rugged and breathtakingly beautiful miombo woodland of Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve. This forest backdrop to Chelinda Lodge provides perfect shelter for an idyllic escape in the highland wilderness of Malawi.

Day 13 – 16: Kaya Mawa, Likoma Island

It is now time to fly to the evergreen northern part of Malawi. You will spend your last five days at the dazzling Kaya Mawa.

Kaya Mawa Lodge is at the head of a crescent-shaped bay on Likoma Island, surrounded by mango trees and ancient baobabs. The main camp is located in a rocky outcrop, consisting of a bar, dining room and rock pool. Kaya Mawa has a number of stone, thatched cottages and 2 family beach villas, with a luxurious & romantic villa on its own private island. The lodge was entirely built by hand, in partnership with the local community.

Day 16: Departure


All good things must come to an end, you will depart from Likoma by plane for Lilongwe International Airport to catch your flight back home.

Welcome to Zambia! A Malawian Style representative will meet you at Mfuwe airstrip and transfer you to your accommodation in the heart of the bush, Chinzombo!
