Just 15 minutes from the airport and centrally located to the town, Ryalls is set in a prime location. If you are into sports then there is a Sports Club just down the road with so much to offer and keep you busy, or you could head into town and explore what is around the city. Just ask the helpful and friendly staff, they are always on hand to help you advise on something exciting to do and see – everything is so close by!

New Hotel…Old Charm

The building itself has been around for years and although it has been revamped you get a sense of its old charm, with a modern touch throughout the hotel. An older structure from outside, but the inside has a more modern touch to it. The rooms are contemporary, comfortable and have all you need for an enjoyable stay. The decor within the lounges and restaurants have a charming charisma about them and are decorated beautifully with a mix of old and new; giving off a colonial feel to it. A lovely place to enjoy, unwind or use as a stopover during your visit to Malawi.

    I was very worried about traveling to Africa. I chose a relatively expensive hotel, and I was not disappointed. Location was central, air conditioning, wifi, hot water, restaurant were all on an international level. It could have been in Europe. I highly recommend this hotel and hope others will enjoy it as much as I did.

  • Excellent stay at the Protea Hotel Blantyre Ryalls

    My experience over the past two years is really noteworthy. Friendly staff, clean rooms, management ensuring you feel at home. Food well prepared and very pleasant garden. Sustainability is a drive and you will enjoy this hotel well underway to become a Green Hotel.

  • Pleasant & Welcoming

    I was here on business for a week. I was travelling on my own and felt very safe. The staff were welcoming and extremely courteous. I wasn’t able to use the pool (I was a little put off when I saw it being cleaned) but the other fitness facilities were very good. The rooms are lovely – really clean with comfy beds. The food in the adjoining restaurant is excellent with steak to die for. I would definitely stay here again.
