Mozambique Bush & Beach Combo, 10 Days (USD 2250 per person sharing)

Day 1: Depart Lilongwe very early with a view to being at the Dedza border post by 6am, hopefully through the border by 7am and on our way to Gorongoza National Park. This is a long drive, but if all goes according to plan we aim to be there midafternoon. Upon arrival we will be shown to our chalets and can relax in our new home for the rest of the afternoon. Dinner will be served in the Chitengo Restaurant between 7 and 8pm. Upgrades Available

Day 2: The first day will have a very early start for the morning game drive. Tea and Coffee will be served at approximately 6am and the game drive will leave at 6:30am for approximately 3.5hrs so returning to the camp at around 10am. We will have a cooked breakfast at the Hippo House half way through the game drive. Upon returning to the camp you will have a couple of hours to yourselves to chill, go for a swim or just relax. At 3 there will be an afternoon game drive for 3 hrs followed by dinner at about 8.

Day 3: Another early start as we head for the beach via the stunning Gorongosa Waterfall. We will depart the camp at 6:30 am and arrive at the base of the mountain at about 8am. A 3hr hike up and down the mountain to the waterfall, with some chill out time at the waterfall while enjoying our packed breakfast will allow us to leave Gorongosa at about 11am for Vilancoulos. This is about a 6hr drive so we should be there by about 5pm where we will stay in Smugglers lodge, which is well located and has a lively bar. We will head out for dinner to one of the fantastic seafood restaurants in Vilancoulos and possible sink a few cocktails. Upgrades Available

Day 4 & 5: We will sail away on a dhow for a night and 2 full days, camping on a secluded beach. This sailing trip takes you to 2 of the best islands in the area, provides snorkels, all food and yes you may bring your own drinks for the adventure.. This is sure to be a highlight, as these islands really are spectacular. We return to Vilancoulos for the last night before heading to Tofo in the morning.

Day 6 - 9: Upon return from the island hopping safari we will head 300km further South to Tofo, Inhambane. The next 3 days are spent in without a doubt one of the most stunning locations in Mozambique. In Tofo we will either stay at Aquatico or Bamboozi's depending on availability… Your time here is pretty much up to you whether you want to go whale watching, diving or fishing you decide. Day 9: This is unfortunately where we start making our way back to Malawi, with an overnight stop in Chimoi. We will be based in the executive Inter-Chimoi Hotel.

Day 10: Fairly early start (7am) as we make our way back to Lilongwe, Malawi.
