4 day Mulanje Trekking Adventure (USD 450 per person)

Day 1: We will depart Lilongwe very early and head for the mountainous region of Mulanje. Once we reach the Lujeri Tea Estate at approximately 10am we will head to the starting point, which is the hydro at the bottom of the mountain. The hike up to Madzeka Chalet begins. The hike is a slow but challenging 4hr walk with several stunning waterfalls and rock pools along the way. We will more than likely stop for lunch and a couple of swims en route and should be at the chalet by 3ish.

Day 2 - 3: The next two days will be climbing Chinzama and Minunu peaks with one night in each mountain hut. Both days are fairly easy walking, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and stunning views with time to swim in waterfalls and rock pools on route.

Day 4: After breakfast we head back down the other flank of the mountain to the starting point, this is about a 3hr walk going past a stunning waterfall and a few fantastic pools on route. We then head back to Lilongwe and should be home for dinner.
