Malawian Style will take you on a fishing trip you will never forget, down to Cahorra Bass where it has been reported that the Tiger fish have been known to eat crocodiles… ok this is a fishing story that has gone too far but seriously the fishing here is fantastic and Cahorra Bassa is really worth visiting if you enjoy your fishing! For many years while Mocambique was at war, these fish were breeding at a rate of knots and the result is the untamed waters of Cahorra Bassa!
We will take you to a brand new camp that has fantastic air-conditioned chalets. The camp is based right at the mouth to the Big Water, we head across the big water and fish all the rivers, which is where the fishing is very good! Due to the location of this camp minimal time is wasted getting to good spots and there is plenty of good fishing time! Cahorra Bassa does get extremely hot, so if you wanted to come back and chill for a few hours over lunch this is an option. Malawian Style will provide transport to Cahorra Bassa and back, either from Blantyre, Malawi or Tete, Mocambique depending on where you choose to fly into. The price includes transport, fishing boats with guides, boat petrol, fishing equipment, accommodation and all meals. The only extra charge will be for drinks and fishing lures lost.
