South Luangwa Safaris
Welcome to South Luangwa National Park. Welcome to the wild side of Africa.

The South Luangwa National Park is in East Zambia, and spans 9050 square kilometres. It has over 60 animal species and over 400 bird species, including elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, steppe eagles and buzzards.

The Luangwa River is among the most untouched major river systems in Africa, and forms the centre of the National Park. Your camp will be on the banks of the Luangwa river, so you can lounge around and watch elephants cross.

South Luangwa pioneered the Walking Safari, which is still a highlight of the park. On a walking safari, you'll notice finer details that you totally miss from a game vehicle. Of course, you'll get up and close with wildlife like never before too. South Luangwa is also among the few parks that allows night safaris, so you have an opportunity to see animals that are active at nights.

Malawian Style's tours of Luangwa National Park are intended to be unhurried, unrushed and tailored to your individual preferences, so you can get to know Luangwa intimately, personally.
